Great food, especially BBQ. The decor is 70ies but the quality of the food is from the future.

Food in Thessaloniki becomes worst by the year. Giorgos is one of the few places that keeps quality fixed...price too. It is rustic though. Hipster's may selfcombust just in sight and vegans will have nightmares for days.

We stayed in Thessaloniki for 3 nights and went here for 2 of those nights because we enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere.It felt special to go to a family run restaurant in the maze of faceless restaurants on offer, no frills, just simple honest food and great personal service, far removed from the tourist trail, only locals and from people who care about giving you great value.The wine by the bottle was great value.

Amazing greek tavern! Giorgos is a super host and chef. Food is super tasty and the prices reasonable. I have been there many times and always try to go when I am in Thessaloniki.

Happened to walk by on 15th Aug and there was one empty table - glad we did. Nice meat taverna, friendly owner and good quality wine. Will be back next time we are in Thessaloniki.
